Empowering Future College Students Through Authentic Video Content
Overview
During the pandemic, when college tours were no longer accessible, Campus Reel emerged as a vital resource for prospective students. As a Media Producer for Campus Reel, I created a series of video tours that offered an unfiltered look into life at Arizona State University—from dorm life to study spaces and campus culture. These videos became essential tools for high school students making big decisions from behind a screen.
This project gave me the opportunity to share my college journey, support first-generation students, and use video storytelling to make a real impact—especially at a time when connection and clarity were needed the most.

💸 How I Paid for College by Myself
In this personal video, I open up about the financial realities of being a first-generation college student. I break down how I navigated scholarships, financial aid, and budgeting—and what I wish I knew before stepping into college life.
Conclusion
Through this series, I helped demystify the college experience and gave students across the country the confidence to pursue higher education. The videos were student-rated and shared nationwide, becoming part of a growing library of peer-produced content. This project showed me how creative media can be both informative and deeply personal—an experience that solidified my passion for visual storytelling as a tool for empowerment.
